On February 29, 2020, the Have a Heart to Save a Heart Foundation will host its 4th annual benefit to raise money for families impacted by Congenital Heart Disease. Each year we select one special heart warrior family to support and this year is the family of Abigayle (Abby) Sayers. Abby was born with an unbalanced single ventricle in May 2019 and has already undergone 2 open heart surgeries. Abby will need continued medical interventions and additional heart surgeries to continue to grow and develop. Abby is the daughter of Brittany Sayers of Waynesville, Ohio.
Abby is a sweet little girl. While just 6 months old, she already has developed a loving personality. She smiles frequently and loves being with her mama and her older sister Marissa. Abby’s most recent open-heart surgery in October went well and she is recovering nicely. We are excited to say that Abby is currently home with her family as she continues with therapy and outpatient visits.
The event will be held at the Lebanon Eagles (209 W. Main Street, Lebanon, OH) from 12-6 pm. We will have live music, cash bar, FREE FOOD, 50/50 and TONS of raffles! Come have a great time and support a sweet little girl!
A portion of each ticket for Shamrock Shenanigans will be donated to Have A Heart To Save A Heart Foundation. The Have A Heart To Save A Heart Foundation is a non-profit (501(c)(3) organization, established in June 2017 to assist the families and patients with the incredible medical, travel, and other cost associated with having a child with a Congenital Heart Defect (CHD). Our desire is to help families in need who are not eligible for other assistance programs and are struggling to meet the needs of their family.
